Favourite season:  spring

Best thing about gardening?:  something is always growing and changing

If you had AUS$50/US$25 to spend on plants, what would you buy?:  a harry lauder walking stick

What do you hope to find here?:  other folks who enjoy growing things

Well hello there. Thanks so much for the kind words. How are you? :) Those walking sticks are very expensive here. I saw them at HD and they were around 90 bucks. I would have needed help carrying it home. Someday maybe I'll find a small one that will be easy to handle. I've never tried to nurture a tree before.

I think I got this wrong. I thought a walking stick was what you use to walk on a trail with! Oops. I guess I was out on that one. I've never heard of them before!

No wonder it would be heavy to carry it home! Duh! grin.

How about a wagon or a skateboard for under the plant? Wheelbarrow?

LOL I think it's aka a filbert tree. I just really don't want to pay the price because if it died I'd be madder than heck. It would have to go in the front yard, I'd have to dig a big hole, etc. etc. etc. I'm not sure I have the stamina for all of that digging. I saw where one of the nursery sites had small babies for under 20 bucks but they were out of stock. That's more my speed. Someday I guess. :)
